Label reads: "TRAMINER The Traminer (Tram-ee-ner) grape is the premium variety of Alsace France, where distinctive and classical white wines have famous for centuries. Only in recent years have sufficient plantings of Traminer allowed for volume production. Hunter Valley Traminers are now exciting the palates of wine judges. They show the same elegant, yet fruity characteristics of their unique Alsace ancestors. Winemaker's Comment The rolling hills of Arrowfield suit the Traminer grape. It is a delicate, exotic variety prone to oxidation as soon as it is crushed to release the famous Traminer perfume. Careful wine-making procedures must be observed to transfer this perfume into the final bottle of wine, without losing any of the delicate colour, which is evident in Arrowfield Traminer."
