Label reads: "GOLD MEDAL BURGUNDY Made from a blend of Shiraz and Grenache grapes grown in the hills south of Adelaide. Matured for 2 years in new oak, this wine has developed into a delicate round soft Burgundy. Awarded a Gold Medal in the royal Sydney Show 1969, Class 5, and a Silver Medal in Melbourne 1969, Class 960. A slight crust may develop in the bottle as the wine ages.
