Pokolbin N.S.W. - Produce of Australia Murray D Tyrrell Winemaker D2403 Made from 85%Hermitage from our contour blocks and 15% Cabernet from the Bimbagen vineyard picked early in vintage. Ten percent of the juice was fermented in Oak and blended back after six months. The Oak treatment and the percentage of Cabernet have added great complexity to a wine with good fruit flavour and a high acid and tannin finish. I believe this wine is a classic Hunter Claret style that will suit the Bordeaux palates and that will live for many years in the bottle. 750ml"
