Description

Label reads: "Tyrrell's Estd. 1858 Hunter River CABERNET PORT Vintage 1977 Made from Cabernet grapes picked late in Vintage from our Pokolbin vineyards. It was fortified to 20.5% alcohol by volume on skins in the traditional Portuguese method using only selected 5 year old Brandy Spirit. The wine is slightly lighter and softer than in the past two years and is close in stlye to the 1974 vintage. The wine is soft enough for early drinking, but has the potential for long bottle ageing and may crust after 3-4 years. Tyrrell's VineyardsPty. Limited Winegrowers, Pokolbin N.S.W. 750ml."
