Label reads: "The Pinot Chardonnay grapes for this wine were picked late in January at high sugar and acid levels. The juice was fermented in new French Oak hogsheads in traditional French White Burgundy manner. This is a lighter more delicate wine than in previous years and has been aged for only four months in small wood similar to the 1973 vintage. The Wine is quite high in Alcohol and shows great strenght of acid on the finish which will ensure that the wine will live for many years in the bottle. Murray D Tyrrell Winemaker."
