Label reads: "The 1977 vintage has produced White wines with full rich fruit character and the soft acid finish of the traditional Hunter White styles. This wine was made from Pinot Chardonnay grapes grown on our Short Flat vineyard. The juice was fermented cold and then transferred to new French Oak hogsheads until bottling. The use of small Oak has assisted in making a wine of the classic White Burgundy style. I believe this to be a truly great wine and one that will develop and improve if given a further 4/5 years bottle ageing. Murray D Tyrrell Winemaker"
