Description

Label reads: "1981 FUME BLANC This wine is made entirely from Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown on the Enterprise Vineyards 3km south-east of the township of Clare. These grapes were picked ripe (13.5 baume) and part of the juice was fermented in new German oak puncheons to complement its rich fruit flavours with smoky (fume) character of fresh oak While enjoyable to drink now we recommend cellaring for two to five years to help this wine realise its full potential. Tim Knappstein Winemaker"
