Label reads: "2001 Cool Climate, Clean Environment This was an excellent growing year in Orange. The Sauvignon Blanc grapes were hand picked on 24th and 26th March. A small portion was fermented in French oak barriques with extended less contact then blended back to add complexity. The Wine has green apple and passionfruit flavours with medium palate weight and firm acid structure. This wine is enhanced by food and will take considerable chilling without loss of flavour making it a superb summer drink. Indigo Ridge Vineyard is situated almost a kilometre high in the cool clean climate of Orange. Our philosophy is to be ecologically sustainable and we use no pesticides.
