Label reads: "Fossil Creek wines are from Premium grapes grown on our own vineyards near Cowra. New South Wales. Fossil Creek takes its name from the discovery of 360 million year old fish fossil near the vineyards. 2001 Cowra Chardonnay Peach and Melon on the nose. Barrel fermented in French oak the wine displays tropical fruit characters and a lingering acid finish. Contract Winemaker Andrew Margan For Fossil Creek Wines Balcombs Road.
