Dear Gertie
Just a few lines to let you know I am still alive and that is about all. It has been very hot these two or three days. I think we will have a storm soon. I forget if I wrote to you last or you wrote to me. This is a gentlemans place about 4 miles out of town. He got Dad to take him different pictures of his place he had 3 taken of his garden When all the roses were out in bloom But we have not got any more or else I would send them to you. I will close now hoping all are well. I am
