SummaryInterview by Cheryl Newell in 1987 with Dr Roy Mills Chest Specialist in Newcastle, NSW. He reflects on the history of Tuberculosis, the changes in drug therapy, special centres using new treatments to cure patients in the 1960s. He came to Newcastle in 1953, had spent six years of post graduate study and research with Prof Lorimer Dods at Institute of Child Health. Dr Mills worked at the Royal Newcastle Hospital retiring in 1972 to work in private practice and conduct research.
