This image was scanned from an original glass plate or negative, kindly provided by the Australian Railway Historical Society, New South Wales Division.

Notes:
This locomotive was built by S J Rodgers of Newcastle NSW, for E C Merewether, and was used by the Burwood Coal Mining Company. The Burwood was completed in June 1878. It was on 0-4-0 saddle engine.
