Miss Ailsa Mead inspecting damage from the Maitland Flood, 1955
DescriptionThe location is near the Lorn end of Glenarvon Road, Bolwarra. Marcellan Park is currently positioned between the two farmhouses on the left of the power lines. The lady is Miss Ailsa Mead who lived with her widowed mother, Mrs Nellie Mead, in the house directly above her head. The white sand covering the farms in the foreground is a couple of metres deep. The road follows the line of telegraph poles.
