Jane Ison commented on the Newcastle Family History Society's Facebook page that:
"I am hazarding a guess as late 1827 to early 1828 and almost without doubt before 1832.
My reasoning: In 1822 Patrick Reilly had two plots of land (lots 55 and 57 on Dangar's Map of 1824 and the same lots as shown on this map). In November 1827 as the result of a massive fight in Patrick Reilly's Inn earlier in 1827 and some further accusations of harbouring convicts, Magistrate George Brookes with the support of Francis Allman and Alexander McLeod managed to get Reilly's licence to operate his inn revoked so by the 1828 census Reilly was operating the large government windmill. By 1832 Reilly had moved to his land at Wallis Creek. (I wrote an article on Patrick Reilly for the NFHS Journal 219 for more information about this man and his charming wife, Catherine. It was called Master of the House.)"
