AddBy: Michael Gregg11th Oct 2022 3:27PMThis one of two sister locomotives built in 1921/1922 for the Public Works Department of WA for use on the north-west coastal port tramways servicing the jetties in Carnarvon and Broome. In this case this is the locomotive "Gascoyne" (built by Andrew Barclay & Co, Kilmarnock, Scotland, builder's number 1755 of 1922) about to cross the Whitlock Creek bridge, Babbage Island, en route from the one mile jetty to the Carnarvon town depot.
