AddBy: Michael Gregg1st Jan 2023 4:20PMThis appears to be the same unique hybrid as shown on p17 of LIGHT RAILWAYS journal issue 233 OCTOBER 2013: "The standard gauge composite Fowler steam locomotive at the Tullochs works at Rhodes. It was made by cannibalising three 2ft 6in gauge John Fowler jackshaft drive 2-4-0T locomotives acquired from the defunct Cobar copper mines. Its steaming ability was said to be so poor that it ran out of steam less than half a mile into its first trial at Mount George in 1921 and was sent back to Rhodes."
