SAR W Class, Broken Hill, NSW, [n.d.]
Not entirely sure of the locomotive class as it has minor differences to other shots of the W class. Basically, the splashers are different but everything else seems to match. It does not appear to match any of the NSWGR classes. If it is the SAR W class it would have been operating on the narrow gauge line from Port Pirie to Broken Hill.
There is a car dealership behind the locomotive, named "Silver City Motors", which defines the location beyond doubt and may help with the date.
