    By: Mori Flapan6th Sep 2020 12:46PMThe caption "Stockton breakwater panorama" appears to be erroneous. The photo was taken from Carrington and shows the western side of Stockton from North Stockton to the left and Newcastle city to the right.

    This is the 6th photo (right hand end) of six photos that comprise the panorama, starting from the left.

    The sailing ship to the extreme right is the Schulau (ex. Vodel) built in Holland in 1895. She visited Newcastle on a number of occasions including between May and July 1906.
