By: Margie Partridge9th Sep 2021 6:00PMThis is a photo of Caroline Boyle (nee Gilbert). Caroline was born 5 August 1834 and married Henry Brownwood Boyle in 1853 at West Maitland. Caroline was the daughter of John Gilbert and Mary Fowler. Caroline and her family resided at Raymond Terrace for most of their lives. Caroline died 8 August 1914 at Manly, NSW. There is a poor copy of this photograph in the "Records of the Family of Gilbert" compiled by Violet Moore (deposited with Mitchell Library 1985) so it is great to see a clearer copy.
