HIV/AIDs Memorial quilt

The AIDs memorial quilts were made to commemorate those who had passed away from AIDs. Each square was made the size of a grave - 6 foot by 3 foot - and were sewn together to create a quilt. The squares were made by friends and family of those who had passed, and were made to commemorate their lives and interests. The quilts were displayed in Newcastle Civic Park at each World AIDs Day.
