DescriptionAerial photograph taken by a RAAF Catalina aircraft, looking westward over Fort Scratchley. Zara Street power station can be seen in the background. After the Japanese shelling of Newcastle on 8 June 1942, efforts were taken to camouflage the fort as a residential site.
