An artwork by Newcastle artist and historian Terry Callen, which depicts the steamship 'Maianbar' run aground on Nobby's Beach. The ship had been under tow on the way to Sydney on May 5th, 1940. However, the tow line snapped, and the ship ran aground on the beach, being scrapped on site.
