An artwork by Newcastle artist and historian Terry Callen, depicting the shipwreck of the paddle steamer 'Maitland', which broke in two in Broken Bay during a storm. The disaster killed between 21 and 29 people out of the estimated 62 onboard, although numbers vary depending on sources.
