Information
An artwork by Newcastle artist and historian Terry Callen, depicting the sailship 'Norma' under tow. In 1903 the ship attempted to enter Newcastle Harbour without a tug, but was forced to drop both anchors due to the conditions. None of the port's tugs could tow her in, and so they had to wait for a powerful tug from Sydney to arrive.
