Description

A 2026 scan of a glass slide provided to the John Price Collection within the Newcastle Maritime Museum Collection.

John Price, the former State Member for Waratah and later Maitland, worked for the Newcastle State Dockyard at the time of its closure, and saved several glass slides from being destroyed.

The originals are held by the Newcastle Maritime Museum, and have been scanned with their kind permission.
