Stroud and District Historical Society

The Stroud and District Historical Society was formed on 30th June 1970. Volunteers of The Stroud & District Historical Society is preserving the rich history of Stroud for current research and for future generations.  

Our mission is to collect and preserve artefacts and the documentary history of the Australian Agricultural Company and the local residents. 

We have a passion for local history and want to share the history of the Stroud, Stroud Road, Booral, Allworth, Girvan, The Branch and Limeburner's Creek areas with others who are interested in our history.
