On Thursday the 28th of December 1989 Newcastle, New South Wales was struck by a 5.6 M earthquake. The earthquake killed 13 people, injured over 100 more and destroyed or damaged thousands of buildings. The tapes included in this collection show footage that was filmed by NBN Television in the aftermath of the devastating natural disaster.
