Description

This book of vegetarian cookery was written by Laura Louisa Lee who was born in 1873 and married Carl August Ulrich, a German immigrant in 1901.

The couple had one child, Carl Frederick Lee Ulrich (1903-1962) who became a pastor, probably in the Seventh Day Adventist Church, and the factory superintendent at Avondale Industries, Cooranbong, NSW.

Carl August Ulrich was killed in an accident in 1905 when a tree fell on him.

Laura Ulrich later married Francis Edward Smith (1868-1955) in 1935. She died in Launceston, Tasmania on 2 August 1950.
