Hunter Rainbow History Group: A chronology of LGBTIQ events

This is a listing of events, groups and venues significant to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer (LGBTIQ+) people in the Hunter Valley NSW Australia.

This chronology combines various listings of activist events compiled by Sydney gay historians. These have also had a wider selection of community events, groups and venues added. Each item is referenced.

The intended purpose of the chronology is to provide an easy access for HRH oral historians researching questions, but it is also proving to be a fine adjudicator for dinner party arguments. 

Changes will be made as more magazines are uncovered, and readers correct and add entries. The version date can be found below the last entry of each year.
