Cyril Williams (2 August 1903 - 5 December 1984) and his family were ice cream manufacturers and vendors in Cessnock.
Early Life
Mr Williams was born in Minmi in 1903, and his family moved to Branxton shortly after. They moved to Cessnock in 1910 where his father, Aneurin Williams, worked as a miner at Aberdare Extended Colliery.
He mentions some of his brothers including Ernie, Billy and Stan Williams.
He worked at Aberdare Central Colliery, also for his father selling ice cream and in his father's fruit business.
Ice Cream Business
Discusses the ice cream manufacture process and the clients who purchased it, including shops in Cessnock. Mentions vendors including "Geordie Bob", Dick Vondlesan and Cornelius Vandenburg.

Soccer
Discusses his football career. Won premiership and State Cup in 1928 and moved to Sydney in 1929. Played soccer for Leichhardt. Represented Australia in soccer in 1924. Represented NSW in 1929.
