New clubhouse officially opened 1956
Secretary Manager Davey Rowe replaced Cec Anstey.
Various members Percy Marsh, Ernie Roderick, Tom Hodge, Keith Chambers, John Allan, Arthur Kempe.
Cec remembered Merv McDonald who had two deformed arms. He used to throw with both hands until the balls became too heavy.
Players arrangements
Bowls were priced at £15 in the 50’s.

Bob Muir became Secretary.
Resigning from the post of Secretary Manager
Nominated for Life Membership

Cec remembered an accident with Tommy Hodge. Cec and Tommy were shovelling some scavenged blue metal. They had a rhythm of shovelling which must have come unstuck because Cec hit Tommy on the head with the back of his shovel. “Tommy survived”.
