Father Philip Purcell (1916-2007) - Catholic priest. Recorded 30 November 1984. Part 2/2
Fr. Philip Purcell was born in Co. Kilkenny, Ireland in 1916, and was ordained priest in Kilkenny in 1943. He arrived in Australia in 1945 and served as assistant priest in Maitland, Cessnock, Charlestown and Scone. He served as parish priest for Murrurundi and Branxton-Greta.
He retired in 1986 and died in 2007.
