Each "chock" has four legs - DA Ram – the front of the Ram hooks on to the AFC by pins allowing it to swivel. Everything remains coupled to the conveyor.

Description of the "alligator" Pantech – static cable trays 600ml wide x 2m long.

Recalls positioning of cables – transformers on top with the cables underneath in the cable trays. The alligator is a flexible piece of steel that can turn around and has two way hinge allowing up and down movement. “Each time you push the face forward you’re pushing the cable tray a little bit more until you reach the static cable trays”. This holds 4 or 5 shears.

Recalls how coal was loaded onto tray – its cut out by the shearer which has a spiral cutter which throws over and is loaded into the tray.
