Started with Great grandfather orig. from Lincolnshire to Australia, with sister they were fortunate to make contact with descendant Cyril Drayton in England.

Visited where grandfather grew up. "Dray - ton" (Farm - Town).

Drayton Manor, dates back to 12th Century- passed around photographs.

Joseph Drayton (great-grandfather Joseph Drayton left England, 1852. Had two sons. Son died on passage to Australia.

"Beejapore" arrived on 6 January, 1853. Went into quarantine.

Fare of voyage was 4 pounds

Wife gave birth to daughter during trip. Wife and baby died while in quarantine.
